HSE First Aid at Work
A fully-comprehensive course guaranteed to provide you with all the skills and knowledge required to deal with sudden injuries or illnesses at your workplace. Overview First Aid at Work: 3 days - Maximum of 12 delegates per course All places of work must comply with Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 (Northern Ireland 1982). This course is necessary if, as a result of a risk assessment for your business, it is identified that first aiders are required. Who should attend? Designated individuals who would be able to respond to a sudden illness or an emergency situation whilst in the workplace. Course outcome Course delegates will have gained life saving skills and upon successful completion of the course and independent assessment, course delegates will be awarded a Health and Safety Executive approved, nationally recognised First Aid at Work certificate, which is valid for three years. The Health and Safety Executive strongly recommends that any individual who undertakes the 3-day First Aid at Work, 2-day requalification or 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work courses, should undergo an annual refresher course of three hours duration. Course Dates & Venues
