Emergency First Aid for Children

Overview

Emergency First Aid for Children: 1-day course.

Maximum of 12 delegates per course.

Following continual assessment and successful completion of the course, delegates will be issued with an Emergency First Aid for Children certificate of attendance.

Course Outcome

Delegates will be able understand their responsibilities as a First Aider and be able to recognise and provide the appropriate treatment for an unconscious breathing and non-breathing casualty; shock including anaphylaxis; bleeding; respiratory disorders; burns and scalds; poisoning; and sudden illness.

Who should attend?

Anyone who works with or cares for children and requires basic First Aid knowledge and skills.
