Normal ‘domestic’ clingfilm is much thinner than catering cling film for a start. The extra thick cling film used in catering, such as this, is much more durable and much less likely to rip while being wrapped around food or over containers. This means that you get a better seal with no small, almost undetectable holes that let food go bad or dry out.
This 45cm is especially useful for covering bigger portions and trays used in catering for covering food prepared ready to be cooked later or for covering leftovers for storge in the fridge. We also offer a 30cm wide roll of the same food wrap from ProWrap and many kitchens choose to have both sizes to suit different needs.
