Stockolan is a Skin Conditioning Cream for use during and after work shifts. It can be used therefore as well as pre-work barrier creams, but can also be used as needed for those who have occasional contact with chemicals that dry skin or who just need to soothe skin after a day of manual work.

Part of Deb’s range, within the SC Johnson Professional family, this is formulated to be used on all skin types and to be provided in a dispenser in a suitable place for everyone to use as needed: even just grabbing a dose as they pass by.

To ensure maximum compatibility with even sensitive skin the ingredients have been carefully chosen and no unnecessary additives are included, such as perfumes.

Usage of Hand Conditioner in Healthcare and Care Facilities

Being made for professional environments with Healthcare specifically in mind when this was created, compatibility with alcohol based hand sanitisers was a key feature to include.

Other key decisions in the formulation include making sure that the cream doesn’t leave hands greasy and is quick to be absorbed. In nursing and care we may not have time to wait for creams to soak in to skin, and the result would be we simply don’t use creams that would prevent us from getting on with our work. Stockolan is made with dicaprylyl carbonate, an emollient that absorbs very fast leaving no residue on the skin’s surface but which works from within the skin’s layers.

When serving or preparing food as well the lack of perfume avoids tainting and the cream is designed to be used with gloves including latex, vinyl and nitrile gloves without damaging the material.
