Description
Max Min Thermometer Display
The Thermometer has an LCD display clearly showing 3 temperatures, the maximum since the last reset, the current ‘live’ temperature and the minimum temperature since the last reset.
Reset can be done fast after each check with one of the two side buttons, the other switching from Fahrenheit to Celsius.
Being able to spot if temperatures have been fluctuating (with big differences between max and min temps) means carers can spot issues sooner, even when the resident is unable to communicate that they might be suffering discomfort.
When weather is extreme this could mean stopping patients getting too cold, which, especially if they have compromised immune systems, can lead to illness. It can also mean avoiding high temperatures in summer which can lead to dehydration or even heat stroke, which can occur much more quickly in the elderly or those with other health issues.
Easy to Read Display in °C or °F
The wall-mounted thermometer can easily be positioned in a easy to view spot and with a large display can be read clearly and accurately, even a distance away. With an accuracy of ±1°C and temperatures to 1 decimal place a carer can quickly do their rounds of checks on each residents’ room and on common areas such as lounges and TV rooms.
Trusted for Temperature Monitoring in Many Environments
This digital thermometer is ideal for care homes and other healthcare settings but also trusted in many other settings including in industry, science (e.g. in laboratories) and at home, such as in greenhouses and conservatories.
The ABS plastic housing is built to last and cope in any indoor work environment and the LCD thermometer has up to 4000 hours of preparation (around 5 months) on a single AA battery.
