Reusable Tubular Slide Sheets – Low Friction Patient Transfer | Cromptons by MIP
The Cromptons Tubular Reusable Slide Sheets are constructed from Transtex, a specially developed, silicone-coated fabric that delivers a slick, low-friction surface on both sides, allowing for effortless patient movement and turning. The fabric is durable, reusable, and fully compatible with hospital laundering protocols as per HSG(95)18 guidelines.
These slide sheets are not intended for lifting but are designed to facilitate safe, manual repositioning techniques without putting undue stress on the patient or caregiver.
Each sheet is sewn into a continuous tubular design with a double-stitched, low-profile seam that enhances durability while reducing the risk of pressure-related injuries. A webbed hanging loop is also included, enabling the sheet to remain conveniently with the patient throughout care.
